Let's talk luck today.
Out of all definitions of good luck just one stroked a cord in me: "Luck is the redundancy of hard work". OK, that was some time ago. I hesitated on the topic of Luck for quite some time and I'm happy because in the meantime I've nailed it.
So here's the part which I was looking for. It comes from Louis Pasteur: "Chance favors the prepared mind". It is quite obvious that even if something extraordinary comes along one's way and he or she is not ready, chances are the good thing will not materialize. Or simply put, "luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity" as Seneca put it. And all of a sudden I remember a good one that I cannot connect to a name: "experience is what you get when you don't get what you want".
Can you see it? We have to practice to get ready for something bigger and only then it will come our way. And then we will finally call ourselves lucky.
Good night and good luck everyone,
Corina
